Mark McClain currently serves as CEO of SailPoint, a privately held company located in Austin, Texas, that is an industry leader in enterprise identity and access management solutions. During McClain’s tenure as CEO, Sailpoint has grown from a start-up to a company with over $100 million in annual revenue and over 600 employees in 20 countries. Previously, McClain founded Waveset Technologies in 2000 and sold the company for $150 million to Sun Microsystems in 2003. McClain’s career also includes diverse experience in international sales and marketing with Hewlett-Packard and IBM/Tivoli Systems.
At Sailpoint, McClain received a series of awards for his excellence in leadership including Austin Business Journal’s 2013 Best CEO in Austin and the 2015 EY entrepreneur of the year.
