Leading provider of UC analytics and monitoring systems, Vyopta, recently announced massive growth in customers, revenue, product innovation, and talent. Since receiving $7.5 million in funding from Elsewhere Partners in 2019, Vyopta has grown on a massive scale. The company’s sales grew by over 60% year-over-year in Q2 of 2020.

Vyopta expanded its team in a selection of crucial areas, adding leading Global 2000 and Fortune 500 companies into the system. Vyopta also rolled out a selection of massive platform and product enhancements, including expanded coverage by UC vendors like Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom, Pexip, and BlueJeans by Verizon.

Responding to the Rise in New Demand

According to the CEO of Vyopta, Alfredo Ramirez, the coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the rapid adoption of things like telemedicine, remote work, and distance learning. CEOs and other C-Suite professionals are beginning to face new challenges. They need to ensure that their UC tech is being managed and monitored proactively.

Enterprises and large companies have begun moving towards Vyopta in recent months to enhance UC across various platforms. Over the last year, many of the largest organizations in the world began using Vyopta. The company counts over 70 of the Global 2000, as well as another 30 of the Fortune 500 as customers. Clients come from a variety of industries, including federal government, finance, education, healthcare, and many others.

To help support the rise in demand, Vyopta invested in strategic hiring for the past 12 months, with an expanding focus on sales, customer success, and marketing. Dan Rourke, who previously held positions for leadership at Spredfast, and HomeAway, entered the company as VP for customer success. He tripled the size of the team. The company also hired Spiceworks pro, Jonathan Sass for the Product Management team.

New Opportunities from Vyopta

Vyopta’s key product enhancements and innovations include launching and enhancing Vyopta’s standalone solution for the Workspace Insights product. This solution allows companies to track room use, reduce usage issues, and enhance real estate and tech investments.

Vyopta also expanded analytics and UC monitoring for enterprise voice, improving troubleshooting and performance management for voice services with added ISDN and SIP support. What’s more, the company introduced the next generation of its platform for collaboration performance management. The latest system enables support for IoT and UC data, machine learning, big data processing, and video and voice environments.

The Vyopta team increased the coverage of its performance management platform with additional support for Poly, Dolby Voice, and Lifesize endpoints. There’s also new support for Cisco and Pexip infrastructure. The company additionally added functionality for the support of remote work solutions, including updated analytics and monitoring around UCaaS systems, and deeper solutions for managing mobile and remote access.

Vyopta and Microsoft Teams

Vyopta also recently announced complete support for the Microsoft range of cloud-based UC products. This includes access to Microsoft Teams rooms, Skype for Business online, Surface Hub, and Microsoft Teams.

Vyopta stands out as one of the first companies in the market to provide extensive analytics for Microsoft Teams. The business participated in Microsoft’s new Call Data API adoption platform. This new capability for high-level monitoring will improve the rollout of Microsoft Teams experiences, while simplifying reporting and troubleshooting. What’s more Vyopta’s new solution also enhances the quality of service across the Microsoft video and voice service.

Supporting a Growth in Microsoft Teams Usage

Microsoft Teams usage has increased drastically in the new move towards remote work. Many businesses have begun to explore opportunities in things like distance learning, telehealth, and remote financial services. According to Ramirez, Vyopta is well-positioned to help companies with multi-vendor environments to ensure a more positive user experience, while also enhancing communication and collaboration outcomes.

The new support for Microsoft within the Vyopta Collaboration Performance Management platform includes features like:
