Reports (Advanced Analytics)
Export and Report on the data that matters to you!
The Reports tabs allows Vyopta users to review any of their saved or pre-scheduled reports. Saved report names are clickable, so you can select a specific report to find out exactly what it covers. You can also edit, run, disable, or delete reports from this tab.
Reports are distinctive from Alerts in that they are not created from the Reports tab. Instead, they are created by clicking the from any of the other tabs in Advanced Analytics and viewed from the Reports tab. We’ll run through a couple of examples below but if you have any questions about report functionality, please don’t hesitate to reach out to email@example.com.
Reports can be generated from the primary data tabs, but in this example we’ll be working from the Issues tab. Please note that for the primary panel tabs, reports are based on Dashboard view. As a result, you can create custom dashboards with the sole purpose of having a distinct view of your data (filtered by location or endpoint tag) that generates a report that can go out to recipients of your choosing at a cadence you set.
You can see in the example below, we’ve added a new Dashboard called ‘Issues by Location’ and created some panels to take a look at our call quality (specifically bad call quality) by location. That is mapped out as a trend and aggregate as seen here:
In this example, to create a report we’d simply click the and set the parameters. That’s it!
While the panel tabs all have report functionality based on Dashboard, the Meetings and Endpoints tabs use Reporting functionality a bit differently. For example, from the Meetings tab you might use the ‘Add Filter’ search box to search for bad call quality. The data will then refresh to show only meetings that experiencing bad quality. If you wanted to turn this into a report, you would then click on the share button in the top right corner (as discussed previously):
Once you have clicked the share button, a popup will appear that allows you to set your report details:
In the share pop up, you would then enter the following details:
- Export type: Excel, CSV, Report Link ( all or select ones)
- Frequency: Weekly (since we are trying to generate weekly quality bad reports)
- Days: Select the days on which you want the report to be sent out
- Report period: Last 7 days ( since you are looking for weekly report)
- Message, subject: as per your convenience
- To: You can email it to anyone you would like to share the report with
Please note that the Days parameter won’t appear until a report has a frequency greater than ‘Once’ (at which point it is considered recurring and prompts the user to select the applicable send day for the report.
To edit any of your reports, navigate to the Reports tab and click the Edit (pencil) icon beside the selected report. Once you have made your changes, click Save to finalize your edits.
To disable or enable a report, click on the button labeled ‘Enabled/Disabled’ as seen in the summary screenshot below.
To delete any of your reports, click the Delete (trash can) icon and confirm that you want to delete the report. Please note that deleted reports are permanently removed and are not recoverable.
