Inside Sales Representative

Overview

We are looking for an inside sales representative (ISR) who wants to make a big impact and accelerate their sales career.  Our ISRs play a critical role in our sales and marketing process and are groomed from the start to become top Account Executives.  If you are highly competitive, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are looking to take control of your career growth, this is the position for you!

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and generate qualified sales leads for IT teams within large organizations including Fortune 500, government, healthcare, and higher education institutions
  • Follow up on inbound leads (e.g., website leads, eBook downloads) from our demand generation campaigns and identify qualified prospects
  • Perform high volume outbound prospecting making >100 calls/emails/social connects per day
  • Follow up with key channel and technology partners to generate additional leads
  • Conduct needs assessments calls with qualified prospects which may include introductory product demonstrations via a video meeting or WebEx
  • For sales qualified leads, schedule a customer meeting with an Account Executive
  • Develop a high level of expertise of Vyopta’s' product offerings, competitive landscape, and understanding of related technologies and how they solve customer's business issues

You must have:

  • At least 1-2 years experience with inside sales and outbound calling. Strong preference for experience selling SaaS products which require a consultative sales process to IT buyers
  • Demonstrable record of sales success against quota
  • Killer work ethic, passion, and an energizing, positive attitude
  • Relentless focus, discipline and grit
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments. It’s a start-up!
  • Experience with SalesForce.com, Hubspot, and Discover.org a plus
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead a conversation with prospects to understand their current needs, collaboration environment and tools, and reasons-to-buy.  You need to love to demo!
  • A bachelor’s degree

Account Executive

Company

Vyopta is a pioneer developer of cloud collaboration analytics. The Vyopta Account Executive is responsible for selling collaboration analytics solutions in a large geographic territory. Activities involve territory development (including cold-calling), lead qualification, product demos (via video or WebEx), negotiations, and closing. In addition, participating in industry networking events to build direct sales pipelines. This position requires a highly organized, motivated and productive individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify inbound leads for viability.
  • Profiling and researching target accounts in assigned territory utilizing various methods and tools.
  • Cold calling key individuals within target accounts in an effort to generate opportunities.
  • Negotiating and closing business on a consistent monthly basis. This includes meeting customers via video and in person - if required.
  • Involving appropriate Vyopta management in sales opportunities when required.
  • Preparing and managing sales pipeline to be delivered on a weekly basis.
  • Presenting Vyopta collaboration solutions via video or WebEx to key stakeholders within target accounts.
  • Managing integrity of our sales force automation tool.

Developing a level of expertise of Vyopta industry, product offerings, competitive landscape, and understanding of associated technologies and how they solve customer's business issues.

This position requires consistent performance and delivering month in and month out, and the Account Executive is expected to achieve quota two of three months per quarter. Travel is possible. The vast majority of selling in this position is performed over the phone, via webcasts and online demonstrations.

Requirements:

  • Must have 2-5 years of direct enterprise sales experience with proven track record.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication (written and oral) and active listening skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize and manage workflow.
  • Masterful negotiating and closing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow-through and follow-up
  • Solid account qualification skills; self-starter approach to researching target accounts and gathering contacts.

Cloud Analytics Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new innovative features and capabilities with the highest ROI into Vyopta's scalable cloud application suite.
  • Embrace technical excellence and the shared responsibility for writing testable, high performance, maintainable code.
  • Deliver working software weekly via iterative and incremental development.
  • Excel in creative software, database and ETL design, and have strong technical expertise to quickly understand the Vyopta architecture, platform, and API services.
  • Assist with client training and technical support as needed for Vyopta professional services, partners and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of IP networks, SQL, C#/ASP.NET and Java.
  • Strong relational database knowledge - concepts/algorithms, schema design, query optimization, performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design techniques.
  • Excellent verbal-written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Does not accept the status quo, challenges assumptions, and strives to improve everything which he or she is involved.

Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of IP networks, object-oriented analysis/design and communications infrastructure, including programming in C#/ASP.NET, Java, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, XML, SQL, Ajax, WebServices/SOAP.
  • Relational database knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent verbal-written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Solutions Engineer (Entry-level)

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, integrate, test and deploy Vyopta solutions.
  • Provide technical support to customers and partners.
  • Establish a strong working knowledge of relevant video, audio, data and network technologies and standards.
  • Continually stay current on Vyopta products (including relevant Cisco products) and Vyopta implementation tools and methodologies.
  • Work with Vyopta project management to deliver Vyopta solutions as planned.

  • Solid understanding of:
    • IP networks
