ISE 2019: Dates, Location, Pricing and What to Expect

With the start of a new year comes a fresh calendar to be reviewed, marked and hung in plain sight, and the first event we’ve circled on ours is Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2019. Touted for being the world’s largest exhibition for AV and systems integration professionals from all over the world, the ISE conference is known for being a hub for collaboration, innovation and partnership in the Unified Communication and Collaboration space. We’re looking forward to visiting Amsterdam and taking in all the city has to offer, but more importantly, we’re looking forward to some of the other exciting things we can all expect to see at ISE 2019.

When is ISE 2019, where is it and how much do tickets cost?

ISE will take place at the RAI Amsterdam event center located at Europaplein 2-22 1078 GZ Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The show opens on Tuesday February 5th and runs until Friday February 8th. Registration for the event will cost between 145 and 175 euros depending on when you buy your ticket. To learn more about the floorplan and the event space, check out this map.

This year, ISE is expected to attract over 1,300 exhibitors and 80,000 attendees, which is poised to make it the biggest ISE yet. The four day event will feature a unique set of conferences, keynote speeches, training programs and show floor events. With that kind of programming available at your fingertips, it’s hard to say what will win over attendees the most, but we’ve outlined three trends that will definitely take center stage throughout the conference.

1. Smart-buildings gain momentum

It will be hard to attend ISE without gaining a clear understanding of smart buildings, which have evolved from a nice-to-have commodity to an efficiency requirement that is regularly part of any organizational forecast plan. Companies are beginning to integrate various facets of smart building development to not only gain traction in the budgeting department, but additionally as a way to impress potential hires and retain current staff. Imagine a world every employee ID card could automatically tell the elevator where to stop based on office location or tell the conference room technology how to orient to match the needs and preferences of a person or group. Smart-buildings are moving out of the luxury zone and into the “must-have” zone.

2. Customer discussions will take center stage

In an age of consumer empowerment due to the rise of the social media feedback loop, end-user discussions are driving real change and brands are forced to take note. With that trend in mind, one discussion we’re eagerly anticipating is the AVIXA and AV User Group Customer Discussion where enterprise AV and IT professionals will discuss cutting edge customer-facing projects, solutions and problems that are on their radars in 2019.

3. One size never fits all

The commonplace phrase “one size doesn’t fit all” holds a lot of weight for any enterprise, especially in the world of unified communications. Organizations work differently, and therefore our solutions must cater to every company and vertical that crosses our path. It’s evident that in response to the rise of the global and remote workforce, offices are changes their office spaces, their meeting culture and their technologies to adjust. With the introduction of Cisco’s Webex Room Kit Mini and our complimentary Workspace Insights software, organizations can now maximize potential savings by using products that not only offer better ROIs, but also boost employee satisfaction because they are no longer at the mercy of outdated processes and inefficient technologies. Booking processes, room technology, connected services and collaboration performance softwares are going to play a huge role in how organizations plan their office spaces.

Ultimately, what we’re looking forward to the most is a chance to connect with our customers and future users. We’ll be sharing news about our recently expanded product line and giving away some really cool swag. We hope to see you there – stop by and say hello at Cisco Booth #C130 on the Unified Communications Floor in Hall 11!
