UC + Video Conferencing | Why video conferencing is beneficial for business
UC (or UC&C) is rapidly expanding its resume. Voice, messaging, sharing, and video all fall under the UC&C umbrella and, though video conferencing is not a new technology, the rise in use of video has been getting a lot of attention as of late.
From the benefits of video being mobile-friendly, to the ability to better collaborate with team members when you can see their faces (and their non-verbal cues) during conversations, more and more organizations are understanding that video conferencing can bring their teams together in a way that voice alone simply can’t.
Two things are coming up when you’re researching, learning, and searching for UC&C: hybrid cloud and multi-vendor products. Hybrid can mean public and private cloud services or a mix of on-premise and cloud services—but the overall message is that the days of one vendor providing an overall UC&C solution are gone. More and more businesses are opting, whether for demand or for budget reasons, to pick and choose services from a variety of vendors to get the most of their UC&C tools.
In this e-book, we talk about the how, what, and why of the current and future UC&C environment so you’re ready for whatever comes your way.
