Vyopta Supports Leaders in 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Video Conferencing

Ever since the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Video Conferencing was announced a few weeks ago, the UC space has been abuzz with talk about Leaders and Visionaries. Everyone from UC Today to the Leaders and Visionaries themselves have been discussing the Quadrant and what that means for the UC space.

At Vyopta, we’re pleased to announce that we provide Collaboration Performance Management (CPM) monitoring and analytics with deep integrations with Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom, BlueJeans,  and Pexip, and Vidyo as well as monitoring for Lifesize.

What do we monitor?

With UC deployments getting even more complex year after year, it’s important to understand what’s working and what’s not. To that end, Vyopta monitors video, voice, messaging and rooms. In addition, we can pull data from endpoints and peripherals, UC managers, meeting bridges, UC software clients, and calendar systems.

Why is this important?

According to Gartner, by 2024, only 25% of meetings will take place in person which is down from 60% today. With more of the workforce taking part in video conferencing and other methods of remote collaboration, it becomes even more important to ensure that meetings are high quality. And, when the inevitable problem arises, that it can be identified and resolved quickly.

Is the mic on?
Is the endpoint unplugged?
Is someone stuck on mute?
Did they encounter jitter during their presentation?

Using CPM Monitoring and Analytics along with your video conferencing solution means identifying and resolving issues faster which ultimately means saving time and money.

Congrats to our technology partners who were named to the Gartner Magic Quadrant!
